Jordan Whittenburg began his real estate education in 2004 with Prudential California Realty at age 19. With the choice to immediately begin his real estate career or finish college, he ultimately decided to continue school to complete his degree and pursue his basketball career.
Whittenburg received a scholarship to play basketball at Northwest Christian University in Eugene, Oregon, where he was an All-Conference shooting guard and graduated with a degree in Communications. Upon graduation, he was offered a coaching position with the NCU men's basketball program and discovered a passion for helping others succeed as a coach. He went on to earn a master's degree in Exercise Science and worked in the education field for over 10 years as a physical education instructor and college basketball coach throughout California and Oregon.
With certain restrictions in place limiting in-person coaching and teaching, Whittenburg pivoted back to real estate, joining one of the Treasure Valley's top producing teams in the new construction space - Beacon Real Estate. He went on to form Green Light Real Estate in 2022 and was recognized as a top individual producer brokerage-wide at Fathom Realty. In 2023, Whittenburg moved over to represent the leading local brokerage in the state - Homes of Idaho. He is surrounded by an experienced team dedicated to helping families find their homes in and around Boise while simplifying the process of buying, selling, or investing in one of the hottest real estate markets in the country.
