Boise, known as “The City of Trees,” has so much to offer. Did you know that in Boise Whitewater Park, you can actually surf? Biking, hiking, swimming, fishing, surfing, kayaking, paddleboarding—you name it, Boise Whitewater Park has it.

We currently have a beautiful listing that’s only a 3-minute bike ride away from the park. At 2:52 in the video above, you can join listings manager Amanda Hodges and me on a virtual tour of the property.

Located at 1112 North Whitewater Park Blvd, the listing is a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom beauty with an amazing upstairs master bedroom retreat with its own walk-out deck. Built in 1920 but expertly remodeled in 2009, it has tons of eye-catching tile, granite, and updated cabinets.

At 1:17, you can hear from my buddy Garret Kerr of Candy Hour Media, who enjoys grabbing his board and riding the wave at Whitewater. According to Kerr, the wave was initially installed as a kayak feature, but was soon discovered by a few surfers who had relocated from different areas.

One such transplant was a professional surfer from Hawaii. He discovered that the wave could be altered to replicate different types of natural waves, and it wasn’t long after that a local surf scene emerged right here in Idaho!

If you have any questions about our listing or any other real estate topic, don’t hesitate to reach out to me. I’d be happy to help you.
