Indoor Play Options in the Treasure Valley

Winter in Treasure Valley typically brings colder weather. While there’s a ton of fun to be had with outdoor winter activities, sometimes you just want to stay inside where it stays nice and warm. Thankfully, the Boise and Nampa areas have so many kid friendly options! You will find a number of venues that have indoor play areas where the kids can really enjoy themselves. Check out some of these great places you can take your kids when you’d rather play inside than out!

Planet Kid

Looking for a giant, safe playground for kids under 12 that is located entirely indoors? The Wings Center in Boise is a awesome place to take the kids when it is raining, and it is always a good option during the coldest part of the winter. There are slides, areas for children to climb, and more than a few ball pits to jump around in. Perhaps the best part is the coffee for the parents. You will also enjoy free WiFi throughout the playground area.

Ceramica

Located in Boise, Ceramica is a great place to encourage your children to develop their artistic side. When you’re just not up for making sculptures in the snow, you can come inside to explore the world of pottery and paint. Select from over 300+ unique unfinished pottery pieces, and choose from a wide variety of stencils and paint to create a masterpiece. They’ll fire it for you and you can pick it up and take it home a few days later.

The Urban Air Adventure Park

This is a playground adventure that will allow your children to get their fill of physical activity for the day. This is a complete gym that has just about everything a child could possibly imagine. It even has a sky rider attraction that allows the more daring ones to enjoy a fun activity that is entirely safe. The Urban Air Adventure Park is located in Nampa.

Pojo’s

This family owned business is something of a Treasure Valley institution. Open since,1974, there are games and rides for all ages, right down to toddlers. There is even a bumper car area that will allow kids to test out their driving skills. Pojo’s is located in Boise, and is committed to keeping playtime affordable, with daily specials all week long.

Wahooz Family Fun Zone

Located in Nampa, it features a unique climbing wall, ropes course and rides. There’s also a laser maze, some bumper cars, and even a mini golf course.  Families can spend the day playing and even refuel with a meal at their Stargrazer Grill.
